These work great with my Nokta Fors CoRe unit. The limiter switch really softens the high signals while allowing the small gruntle tones to still be heard as well as the wisps of slight tones that are deep but right for the digging. The leather cups and headband are extremely comfortable and so much better than vinyl. Plus, I like the fact if you place the detector down to dig but keep the headphones on you can switch the yellow switch to the opposite direction and mute the headset from those annoying blips. The headphones have a plug strain relief for prolonging the cord life from use. These are easily cleaned up by using a damp cloth with water on same. I have had Gray Ghost in the past and liked the tones but hated the vinyl cups which got hard in cold weather and would hurt your ears and head. So if you are on the fence and need a great headset for detecting that also has a limited lifetime warranty give these a look. They are also handmade in the USA in AL.

I tried these first when I was metal detecting on a windy day. They made it possible to hear a faint signal while the one provided with my very expensive detector did not.
